As a writer+director John first premiered his film work at the Cannes Film Festival in the Emerging Filmmaker Showcase, and has since helmed a number of projects including Strong Enough on Prime, and the award-winning Aramaic Nativity film The Christ Child. His screenplays have earned nods from the Academy’s Nicholl Fellowship, the Sundance Sloan Commissioning Grant, and the Austin Screenwriting Competition, with additional projects optioned and sold.

John is also an established producer in both film and television, ranging from studio releases, independent features, to live concert events. His work has premiered at Sundance, Cannes, Tribeca, and other major festivals, with wide releases by Netflix, Universal, and Prime.

A member of the Producers Guild of America and the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, he is known for his strength in story development and guiding projects from inception to distribution.
